這本書是在去年參觀logos時買的，那時好像做媽媽做得有點軟弱，所以買了很多關於做個好媽媽/老婆的書。http://belovedbowie.blogspot.hk/2012/12/logos-hopes_3952.html
買了回來後一直沒有看，值到去英國旅行時放了在行李箱裡，在旅程中拿出來看，但到今天才真正看完，因為我一邊看一邊記下重點，用來提點自己。
書裡有12個chapters，是的是的，對於怎樣做個好老婆的書其實真是老生常談，教會裡常常教導，就當溫故知新吧！神的話，總是要不停翻看，因為我們總是常因遇到挫折而感到氣餒，忘記了神的教導神的愛！
因為太長了，我節錄很少很少…當中最大的提點可以說是manage money那個chapter吧，因為我太懶吧！想起來，真的不應該忽略，因為理財就像是為將來鋪路，想日後有安樂日子，今日就要動手了！
另一樣的提醒，就是要警醒禱告。

1 Growing in the Lord

the Bible what God says about your life and how He wants you to live it

the Bible the meaning and implication of what you are reading. Pray and seek to
understand what God has said in the Bible.
Step3# Do though heartfelt
obedience what you have read and learned, discovered and discerned.
2 Working as a Team
Two are better than one;
because they have a good reward for their labour. And if one has a fall, the other will give him a hand;
but unhappy is the man who is by himself, because he has no helper.

A husband is to lead in his
marriage and family

Warm up his life with your love
Improve his lift as a helper
Follow his leadership with a willing heart

4 Enjoying Intimacy
Giving your all - Your greatest
progress and victory in intimacy will be made as you choose to view, perceive,
and think about sex as God does.
Turning a Corner - When it
comes to the sexual side of your marriage, you are to give your all…freely,
unashamedly, joyfully, heartily, regularly.
Trusting God - And you
husbands, give thought to your way of life with your wives, giving honour to
the woman who is the feebler vessel, but who has an equal part in the heritage
of the grace of life; so that you may not be kept from prayer.

Commit afresh to live out that role…by His grace

Serve however you can – we only
needed to show up with a heart to serve (open hand, willing feet and praying
heart)
Pray – Pray for a servant’s heart every day, praying will remind you
who you are, who you belong to, why you are here, and how God want you to live
your life. Ask God for His love to serve friends and foes, the familiar and the
stranger. Ask God for greater compassion and for ears that hear sand eyes that
see where you can help. Ask for His tender mercies and a heart for serving HIM
and the people He places in your path.
Train up a child in the way
he should go (Proverbs 22:6)
Bring them up in the
training and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4)
12 Reaching Out to Others
You shall be witnesses to
ME in Jerusalem , and in all Judea and Samaria
Living a lovely life peaches a louder and lovelier message than your
lips could ever proclaim.
A heart filled with God’s love will smooth the way for reaching out.
